The Trail of the Zip-Line

Twenty-five boys and ten adults had an amazing time at Tiki Zip Lining on February 11, 2012. The freezing temperature didn't stop us from having a good time. Going across the air on a zip line was a rush. I personally witnessed people such as Devin, Dondi, Mr. David, and myself riding the zip upside down. With crazy tour guides I think our group had the "funnier" experience on the towers. Personally, I had a great time at Tiki Zip Lining and hope to go there again... when its much warmer. With some going upside down and some going just for speed at the end everyone was happy. With a fun day like this I don't think anyone wouldn't want to do this again. Looking forward to our next adventure......Brady.

Historian Campout Update by Brady O.

As soon as we got at Avondale we started the fun.  After safety briefing some went to shoot (rifle or shotgun), and some went to canoe.  People canoeing in the morning earned 3 parts of the canoeing merit badge.  Most of them had lots of fun canoeing and kayaking.  The people rifle shooting also earned parts of the merit badge while also having fun.
For the most part everyone had fun.  Then there was the service project/community project we did for Camp Avondale.  That went by fast.  Finally, on the last day at the end of the campout we played SPUD and the winners were, Jasen A. and either Michael or Matthew.
